This guy always starts a video mentioning he’s forgotten something! Why doesn’t he actually demonstrate hitting a ball with someone the other side feeding – would explain a lot more! O.k .. 3 to 4 feet, about a yard, then 2.5 to 4 foot spacing .. gee! he can’t even remember what distances he’s talking about!

Thanks for these tips :) I recently gave tennis a shot for the first time and it was much harder to hit the ball, much less the direction, than I thought. Positioning definitely helps along with how to hold the racket.

I liked this point. Most people that don’t play tennis, or think they know about tennis don’t understand that positioning is a basic aspect of playing tennis. You can’t swing properly if you don’t position yourself to return serve or a volley or whatever.
