hes holding it at the top because you have more control, he recommends you hold it up there if your a beginner at the kick serve
hes just doing that cuz hes close to the service area. if he was seriosuly serveing he would hold it at the bottom
uhm just wondering
isnt it better to hold it at close to the bottom
of your grip?
not at the top.?
he looks like sunny lane
do you use a eastern backhand grip for a kick serve?
Ain’t something wrong with grip? Isn’t it too far from the end (too close to the racqet’s head)?
In the other vids about the l position is this the same motion by bending the elbow from the backswing./
hi
i come upward and across to the ball
but the players still attacking my kickserve.
must i stopp upward and across with the motion
Toss it out in front more
haha thanks this helped alot. and it looked like u had an endless amount of tennis balls in ur pocket. lol
what I mean is that I’m hitting the ball with an open racket face. I also notice that I start with a continental during the serve but end with a forehand grip. everytime I try to hit a kicker, it goes like 20 ft in the air then comes down and doesn’t jump forward.
Hi seek. What do you mean by “hitting under the serve”? Hitting up on it too much? The angle of the racket face is important — you need to brush up the back of the ball. You’re not trying to hit the ball cleanly.
hey will, love the vid man. I just have a question. How do I prevent myself from hitting under the ball during the serve?
Thx!
you have by far the best tennis instructional videos
