They take a lot. Don’t have the exact number but it’s way more than your average club-level player.
Don’t the pros take on average 20-something steps per shot or point, i don’t know exactly, but as long as my feet are squeaking, i know i’m doing something right.
Well like I said in the video, they are just small steps that allow you to be precise. They let you small small, subtle adjustments in your body position so that you can have a consistent contact point.
I dont get how to get “adjusting steps” I try it but my contact point is inconsistent. My coach says my strokes are fine be my footwork is terrible
