I used to have this problem too but it was pointed out that my technique/mechanics need work when I serve, and it did the trick. Have your coach REALLY analyze your body position, toss, load-up phase, energy-release phase and then follow thru, where and when are you hitting the ball?. This includes hip, leg and feet placement, where your head is before during and after the serve, how is your shoulder rotation? Because it really might just be simple as that, but if it really hurts you might want to stop and get it checked first, let it heal. Because in tennis serving involves a lot of motion and muscle memory development, but once you get it…man it will really make a BIG difference in your game and the respect you’ll get from other players.
Hope this helps
sounds like you have tennis shoulder
